Hi I'm
Mao-Chuan CHEN
ABOUT
I graduated from National Cheng Kung University(NCKU) with a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Now, I'm a graduate student majoring in mechanical engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU), and a member of Multiscale Systems Lab (MSL).
I start playing roller skating in elementary school, and participate in city championships and national competition.
I come from Keelung near the northeast coast. Longdong has the rich marine ecosystem and is a diving resort in the northeast coast.
On sophomore summer vacation, I learned snorkeling and scuba diving.
RESEARCH
Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Jet (APPJ)
Transparent conductive thin films are widely used in liquid crystal display (LCD),light-emitting device (LED), solar cells, and flat panel displays.
We use APPJ to deposit GZO thin films on the the large-area glass substrate, and combine laser-assisted system to attain the micron width thin films.
Recently, we collect the spectrum of plasma from APPJ with laser-assisted system to control the quality of thin films by machine learning.
